Beginning in 1991, Hardox® Distributor Ireland was formed through an introduction to SSAB and their range of Hardox® Wear Plate. Bruce Engineering began to market, sell, and process Hardox® using the Bruce product range as a flagship for promoting the steel throughout Ireland.
In 2003, Bruce Engineering was officially appointed as Ireland’s Hardox® Wearparts Centre, expanding our capabilities to supply tailored wear solutions to a wide range of sectors. Over time, Bruce and Hardox® became synonymous in the Irish market—a partnership built on trust, performance, and reliability.
Bruce Wearparts was launched in 2016 as a dedicated sub-brand of Bruce Materials Processing Solutions to further strengthen this identity, unveiled at the prestigious Hillhead Exhibition. This move reinforced our commitment to providing specialised wear parts and engineering solutions to customers with diverse and demanding applications.
